A series of treatments are performed at four to eight week intervals.

After receiving treatment, it is common for your skin to appear red and slightly swollen. However, there is no need to worry as these symptoms will quickly subside.
When spot treating capillaries or pigmentation there can be some slight swelling in that area for up to 12 hrs after treatment.
In some instances, you might experience areas of dry skin and, in extremely rare circumstances, a small blister could develop. Additionally, there may be temporary lightening or darkening of the affected skin.
In the rare case that side effects do occur, they are usually temporary and resolve within a few hours.
You can anticipate a gradual reduction in redness, flushing, and dilated capillaries. Those who are dealing with visible signs of ageing caused by sun exposure can also expect improvements such as smoother skin with fewer fine wrinkles, smaller pores, and fading of sunspots.

After receiving treatment, it's common for the pigmented areas to appear darker than before and gradually become even darker within the next 48 hours.
